It didnt take long to finish BUT
if you do have this kit, be very careful with the red wool! I only just had enough left to finish (as in just enough left to weave in the last end!) so just bare that in mind when you're changing colours each time! eeek.
Its not the best wool in the world and to be honest I would have expected better quality from Cath Kidtson BUT
I've really got it for the tin rather than the cushion... although I do like the cushion, it will be going in my sons room when I get around the actually clearing everything out of there, at the moment it looks like a store cupboard.. oh well

So cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a "Yarn" series on my blog now and have a link party I'd love for you to check out!
Yarn it all! Link PartyI'd love for you to come by and check it out!
It turned out very lovely with all the different colors. I admire the patience you had; I'm pretty impatient so crochet is not my thing really ;)
ReplyDeleteJust come across your blog through We did it Wednesday link. Love the cushion and like you I wouldn't usually work from a kit but I can see why you fell for it. Enjoyed reading your post, must pop back to read more another time.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have a weird obsession with granny squares to be honest,I'd love to make a granny square bed spread but I really dont have that much patience...or money for wool for that matter!
